Job Description

• CAD Work and 3D modelling to create detailed drawings, floor plans, elevations and other technical documents using AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Material Selection: research and select suitable materials, finishes, furnishings and fixtures for projects.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors and manufacturers to gather information and obtain samples.
• Space Planning: analyze functional requirements, determine furniture layouts and optimize efficient use of space, create furniture plans and coordinate with contractors and architects.
• Design Presentations: prepare and deliver design presentations to landlords or internal teams.
• Create and support visualisations of design concepts through renderings, mood boards and 3D models, explaining the design rationale and addressing feedback.
• Site Visits and Coordination: visit project sites to assess progress, take measurements and ensure design implementation aligns with specifications.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects and other professionals to coordinate project activities.
• Support and collaborate with the Project team in various aspects of the design process and in executing design concepts.
• Liaise with mall/landlord design and project team regarding fit‑out guide & requirements, site progress, inspections, site handover, store openings.
• Support and liaise with internal Boost design & project team members to ensure smooth delivery of the project.
• Oversee and lead junior designers, monitoring drawing quality and timelines.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or other design programs.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design of retail and/or F&B outlets.
• Familiar with design & construction drawings, methodologies and best practices.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to address challenges such as construction delays, project costs or material availability, while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budgets.
• Strong sense of proportion and visual awareness.
• Self‑disciplined with strong work ethics.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with mall management and the project team within the company.
• Proficient in English & Bahasa Melayu; Bahasa Indonesia & Thai skills are an added advantage.
• Excellent time‑management skills to meet tight deadlines.
