We are looking for someone to work at our client’s workplace to assemble and test mechanical assemblies of moderate complexity, requiring some fitting and adjusting who can join us immediately.

Job Details
  • Position : Assembly & Test Technician
  • Status : 12 months contract under PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
  • Work Location : Nusajaya, Gelang Patah
  • Company’s Background : Operates within the oil and gas services industry, specifically focusing on surface technologies related to exploration, drilling, completion, and production of wells.
  • Working Days : 5 days working, 2 days off
  • Working Hours : 7-4/8-5/9-6
  • Shift Pattern : Rotating shift every week
  • Basic : Starting RM2300 (for fresh in Diploma)
  • Allowance : Transport RM200, Meal RM150, Day shift RM12/day, Night shift RM15/night
  • Benefits : Completion Bonus 0.5 month salary for every 6 months contract, Insurance Medical AIA, 1 free meal (lunch / dinner), regular medical check up, site facilities, engagement activities
  • Entitlements : EPF, Socso & EIS, Annual Leave, Medical Leave, Hospitalization Leave, Public Hoilday
Requirements
  • At least 3-4 years relevant working experience in a mechanical role.
  • Minimum SPM/Certificate qualification and above or equivalent.
  • Clear understanding of general mathematics with ability to write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to use personal computer or workstation.
  • Ability to operate high and low pressure pumps, hydrostatic pumps, high torque wrenches, overhead cranes, jib cranes, forklifts and rigging.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools and measuring devices such as height gauges, adjustable parallels, calipers and pressure gauges.
Responsibilities
  • Assembles and tests assemblies according to company's specifications. Master basic skills and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment in area of expertise.
  • Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
  • Resolves routine questions and problems in mastered subassemblies. Refers more complex issues to higher levels.
  • Conduct final factory inspection of oilfield equipment.
  • Prepare test procedures before and after factory acceptance testing.
  • To adhere company HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) policy, rules & regulations.
  • Cleans up components after assembly according to company's specifications and verbal or written instructions.
  • Inputs labor details into Labor Tracking System (LTS) for cost tracking purposes.
  • Uses material handling equipment to move parts, components and subassemblies from one work or storage area to another as required.
  • Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area. Practices good housekeeping in work area.
  • Requires to assist others during assembly of components in area of expertise. Teaches other assemblers' proper techniques and procedures for mastered key subassemblies.
  • To integrate HSE as part of the job function.
