Key Responsibilities
1. User Growth & Acquisition Optimization
- Develop and execute comprehensive user acquisition strategies tailored to the Malaysian market, including digital marketing, social media and content marketing, channel partnerships, and offline campaigns.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize performance across acquisition channels to improve ROI and reduce customer acquisition costs (CAC).
- Manage and optimize marketing budget allocation based on channel performance and growth objectives.
2. User Engagement & Retention
- Analyze local user behavior to build user personas and segmentation frameworks.
- Design and implement personalized engagement, retention, and reactivation strategies across the user lifecycle.
- Optimize lifecycle management to increase user stickiness, repeat usage, and repurchase rates.
- Drive growth in core business verticals (flights, hotels, local activities) by planning compelling promotions, benefits, and campaigns to improve transaction frequency and average order value (AOV).
3. Market Expansion & Brand Influence
- Strengthen brand awareness and market presence through localized branding, PR initiatives, and culturally relevant campaigns.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, adjusting strategies in a timely manner.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with local brands, tourism boards, airlines, hotels, and payment providers to expand market reach and influence.
4. App Adoption & Usage Growth
- Optimize App Store Optimization (ASO) to improve visibility, conversion rates, and rankings on Google Play and Apple App Store.
- Design app-exclusive promotions and differentiated user experiences (e.g., exclusive discounts, faster booking flow, loyalty perks) to drive downloads and position the App as the preferred booking platform.
5. Data Analysis & Growth Optimization
- Establish and maintain a local market performance monitoring system, delivering regular growth reports and actionable insights.
- Apply A/B testing, user research, interviews, and data analysis to continuously improve product features, user experience, and marketing effectiveness.
- Enable data-driven decision-making to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in user growth, performance marketing, or digital marketing; experience in e-commerce, OTA, or internet platforms is preferred.
- Proven track record in driving product growth in the Malaysian market, with strong understanding of local user behavior and media channels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently drive growth through data insights.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
- Fluent in English and Malay; Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
