Overview
Develop and implement a data‑driven strategy for analyzing audience engagement, content performance, and monetization opportunities in the entertainment market.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small analytics team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure success across platforms, campaigns, and content categories.
Data Insights & Visualization
- Transform raw data into meaningful insights using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Provide real‑time dashboards and regular reports to stakeholders for decision‑making purposes.
- Identify trends, consumption patterns, and revenue growth opportunities within the entertainment ecosystem.
Predictive Analytics & Advanced Modeling
- Implement machine learning models to forecast audience growth, churn, and content demand.
- Conduct A/B testing and audience segmentation to drive personalization and optimize user experience.
- Partner with data engineers and scientists to build predictive models for monetization and advertising effectiveness.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with marketing, content, product, and sales teams to align insights with strategic initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership in clear, actionable terms.
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert for analytics in the entertainment domain.
Data Governance & Quality
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR or PDPA.
- Define and enforce data collection standards and best practices across all entertainment channels.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in analytics roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management position, ideally leading small, cross‑functional teams.
- Prior experience in the entertainment industry (e.g., streaming, gaming, media) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other analytics programming languages.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong knowledge of audience measurement metrics (e.g., impressions, engagement, retention, ARPU).
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop talent within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
