Job description
Company Background:

We are representing our client, which is a reputable large-scale industrial solar solutions provider based in Shah Alam, Selangor with nationwide operations. As their expansion, they are looking for an Accounts & Finance Executive to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle daily operational duties including billings, invoicing, and payments. Record all financial activities, specifically managing Accounts Receivables (AR) and Accounts Payables (AP).
  • Issue progress claims and invoices to Commercial & Industrial (C&I) clients based on solar project milestones, such as equipment delivery and installation completion.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for suppliers, customers, and bank statements to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of full sets of accounts (Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) and ensure the timely closing of monthly accounts.
  • Verify the completeness of vendor invoices and supporting documents. Maintain proper filing and labeling of all company documents for maintenance, retrieval, and archiving.
  • Liaise with bankers, solicitors, auditors, and relevant authorities regarding annual audits, bank transactions, and income tax matters (including SST filings).
  • Maintain a systematic filing system specifically for project related contracts and receipts to ensure compliance with LHDN requirements.
  • Support the management team in various capacities ensuring the company remains responsive to new business opportunities and urgent regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting & Finance. Partial professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, LCCI) are also welcomed.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, Xero) and advanced MS Excel.
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin due to business nature.

Working Hours & Days: 9am to 6pm (Mon-Fri)

Salary: RM 3,500 - RM 4,800 (Standard)

Salary: RM 4,500 - RM 5,500 (Candidates with specific Solar EPC/construction accounting experience)
