Job summary

A leading plantation company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accounts Executive to prepare project costing, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with local laws. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and at least five years of experience in the Plantation and Manufacturing sector. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage as communication with Mandarin-speaking clients is required, alongside strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in Plantation & Manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and local tax knowledge.

ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE (FULL TIME BASED IN PAPUA NEW GUINEA)

Bewani Oil Palm Plantations Limited – Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur

To prepare and review project costing for management attention and decision process.

Documentation checking every fortnight and contract payment closing.

Preparation of inventory cost valuation of goods and machineries.

Updating and monitoring of contractor advance file.

Preparation and monitoring of GST, CR1 lodgments and other IRC compliances

To interface & liaise with external parties such as external auditor, tax consultants, bankers and regulatory authorities in ensuring in compliance to local laws and regulations.

Any other assigned role & responsibility as of and when required by superior.

Treasury Support function:

Consolidation of fund requisition from each division on monthly basis.

Facilitate & compile the payment summary for payment execution.

Prepare monthly payment summary report

Assist & support in banking processing

Cash flow forecast

Petty Cash Management

Qualification & Experience:

Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent.

At least 5 year(s) of working experience in Plantation & Manufacturing environment and overseas experiences in added advantage.

Good knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS). Local tax knowledge & experiences (PNG) is added advantage.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, integrity, self-motivated with high degree of commitment and time pressure to meet deadlines and objectives.

Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Good communication skill is needed.

General Requirements:

Medically and physically fit to work (through medical assessment checkup).

Verbal & written communication ability; in English, Mandarin and Bahasa. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
