A leading accounting firm in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting operations. Responsibilities include data entry, invoice processing, and preparing payment vouchers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a diploma in Accounting and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Assist in daily accounting operations including data entry, invoice processing, and filing.
Prepare and update payment vouchers, official receipts, and credit notes.
Support Account Payable (AP) and Account Receivable (AR) functions.
Perform bank reconciliation, update cash book records and issue relevant cheques or bank forms.
Assist in month-end closing and preparation of basic financial schedules.
Ensure proper maintenance and organization of accounting documents.
Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding payment matters when required.
Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.
Job RequirementMinimum Diploma in Accounting or related field.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Detail-oriented with good accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
