We are currently looking for an Accounting Advanced Advisor to join our General Accounting team. As part of our General Accounting team, the primary responsibilities of this role is to handle day-to-day general accounting activities and to take charge of monthly accounting close process for AMER region. The successful candidate will be responsible for all accounting and financial aspects of an assigned account(s) or area of responsibilities within One Identity.

Responsibilities
  • Responsibilities include monthly accounting close and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly accounting close includes preparing and posting journal entries, analyzing financial statements and ledger activities, and writing variance analysis
  • This position will require interaction with the operations team and other financial organizations to drive process improvements, simplification, or other ad-hoc project
  • Involved in CFR (Consolidated Financial Review) analysis and fluctuation commentary
  • Perform or support any Internal Control Financial Reporting audit and testing as necessary
  • Handle internal & external auditor process on statutory audits and/or quarterly reporting
  • Involved in a continuous process improvement and simplification project. Work closely with business partners to rectify exceptions and close all gaps identified
  • Maintain compliance with corporate accounting policy and ensure consistent process across the region and globally
  • This candidate will need to guide other team members, review journals, and reconciliations prepared by other team members
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification
  • Minimum working experience of 6+ years, preferably in an accounting firm and/or MNC
  • Prior experience related to all facets of monthly accounting cycles and procedures, including financial reporting
  • Excellent communication skills & proficient in English
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint etc)
  • Oracle user knowledge and SOX experience are added advantages
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking
  • Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to multitask
  • Results-oriented, flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a team player
  • Able to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Experience in leadership or review work is highly advantageous
