A financial services company in Subang Jaya is seeking an experienced finance manager to oversee financial operations including account reconciliations and payroll processing. The candidate must prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards while leading a team. Strong communication skills in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin are required. This role offers an opportunity to enhance financial planning and drive process improvements.
Oversee financial operations including general ledger management, account reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts, and present insights to senior management for decision‑making.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), tax regulations, and statutory requirements, while establishing and maintaining effective internal controls.
Lead and manage the accounting team by providing supervision, training, mentoring, and performance management, including involvement in hiring and evaluations.
Partner with leadership to support financial planning, strategic initiatives, and process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency and profitability.
Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.
Oversee the daily operations of the accounting function to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial records.
Manage budgeting activities and financial planning processes.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
