Position Overview
The Account Manager plays a key role in driving revenue growth by introducing and closing sales for the company’s Out-of-Home (OOH), Digital Media, Events, and Indoor Advertising products. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and solution-oriented selling. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-driven, and passionate about helping businesses enhance their brand visibility through impactful media solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Actively prospect, meet, and engage SME business owners to promote SBS’s advertising solutions.
- Introduce and present OOH, digital, and event advertising opportunities tailored to client needs.
- Follow up and close leads generated from marketing campaigns or personal networking.
- Achieve personal monthly sales targets of RM50,000–RM80,000.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Understand client objectives and propose effective advertising strategies and packages.
- Provide timely after-sales support and ensure client satisfaction.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Update CRM/sales sheets daily to ensure accurate tracking of leads, pipelines, and performance.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Team Leader.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
Collaboration & Team Support
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of advertising projects.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to improve sales processes and client experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in printing, advertising, social media sales, billboard, or related field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage client accounts effectively.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Own transport is required.
