A leading manufacturing company in Penang is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee full accounting and finance operations. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a certification in ACCA or CIMA preferred and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting and finance operations including AP, AR, inventory, GL, financial reporting, SST, E-Invoicing, Epicor system, and transfer pricing documentation.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in a timely manner.
• Manage annual budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and monitor cost control performance.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, financial standards, and the Companies Act; liaise with auditors, tax agents, external parties, and customs (if applicable).
• Establish, implement, and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team; conduct performance evaluations and support ESG and risk management initiatives.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and support strategic planning and company-wide initiatives.
• Perform ad hoc finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, certification in ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.

At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Required skill(s): MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint). Accounting Software (Auto Count, Epicor).
