Account Management, Senior Executive (MP Beauty)

We are looking for a Regional Senior Account Management Executive based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to join our marketplace team. The primary focus in this role is to drive the overall growth of our key brands and sellers in Zalora. You will work closely with the Regional Category Manager to scale, grow and build strategic partnerships with top sellers.

  • Managing key sellers to drive long‑term and short‑term business goals while aligning with branding image. To establish strong relationships by being the go‑to person to support their business needs.
  • Aligning campaign objectives with sellers, and working closely with the internal team to integrate into ZALORA’s marketing calendar and run post‑campaign analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics (NMV, conversion, AOV, traffic, availability) to identify trends and root causes; develop and execute corrective action plans.
  • Create and execute a strategic plan that delivers on business opportunities both for ZALORA and the seller with accurate forecasting and internal performance tracking.
  • Produce daily/weekly/monthly performance reports for senior management visibility.
  • Improve operational levers with sellers and internal teams to enhance customer experience (SLA, fulfillment, cancellations/returns).
  • Review seller catalogs for competitive assortment and demand fit; ensure content meets ZALORA guidelines and coordinate fixes.
  • Coach and train junior team members on seller management best practices, tools, and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or related fields.
  • 2‑4 years’ experience in business development, category and/or account management, e‑commerce, or retail; exposure to the beauty and/or luxury industry preferred.
  • Proven track record in negotiation (promotions, investment, contracts), JBP ownership/support, and revenue‑driving campaign execution is a must.
  • Excellent command of English; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets preferred; strong with data analysis and insights storytelling.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills; strong stakeholder management and influence.
  • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, high ownership, and problem‑solving skills (able to identify root causes via data and propose practical solutions).
  • Willingness to work in a multicultural environment; team player with a coaching mindset.
