Job summary

A local technology firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced accountant to handle the full spectrum of accounting, including AP, AR, and GL. The successful candidate will be responsible for cash management, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. A degree in accounting or a professional qualification is mandatory, along with English and Mandarin language proficiency. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and the role offers a monthly pay range of MYR 1,799.08 to 5,956.29.

Qualifications

• 1 – 2 years of working experience in related field.
• Strong command of both written & spoken English and Mandarin.
• Ability to speak Hokkien will be an added advantage.

Job Description:

• Responsible for full spectrum of accounting include AP, AR, GL, and monitor outstanding item-based account.
• Ensure timely account closing including financial statements / report preparation, supporting schedule and related matters.
• Responsible for cash management, costing / financial analysis, budget and forecast and timely submission of management report.
• Handle statutory audit / taxation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirement.
• Liaise or coordinate with internal and external parties on the accounting and financial issues whenever it is required.
• To undertake any other projects and ad-hoc works assigned from time to time.

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accounting or Professional Qualification (ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA)
• At least 1 – 2 years of working experience in related field.
