Job summary

A leading construction firm in Malaysia seeks an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting functions, prepare full sets of accounts, and assist in reporting. Candidates with a Diploma in Accountancy or fresh graduates with accounting knowledge are encouraged. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software is desired. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and cash book.
• Prepare full set of accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting/management reports.
• Assist in tax preparation and audit.
• Perform general office administration and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

Requirements

• STPM/Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, partly qualified professionals or fresh school leavers with accounting knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Preferably with working experience in property development or construction company.
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Office and accounting software (especially UBS, Wiz) is preferred.
• Able to command in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interact as a team player.
