Job description

This is a full-time Account Clerk role with Lian Hoe Huat Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd, based in Kulai Johor. Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting support to ensure the smooth running of the company's financial operations.

What you'll be doing
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
  • Perform month-end and year-end accounting tasks such as reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and files
  • Support the Finance team with ad-hoc projects and analyses as required
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and procedures
What we're looking for
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and MS Office applications
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
