Description

We are seeking a skilled 3D Rigger to collaborate with our team on bringing characters and assets to life in immersive gaming experiences. As a 3D Rigger, you will be responsible for creating high-quality rigs for characters, creatures, and props, ensuring seamless integration into production pipelines. You will work closely with animators and technical artists to deliver rigs that meet project specifications and studio quality standards. Proficiency in tools such as Maya or Blender, auto-rigging systems, Unreal Engine cloth simulation setups, and scripting (Python/MEL) is essential.

The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, proactively communicate delays or challenges, and adhere to best practices. Additional expertise in areas such as anatomy, engine implementation, or advanced rigging tools (e.g., Mgear, Rigify) will be highly valued. This role requires regular task tracking and progress updates aligned with agreed project scopes, as well as the ability to adapt to evolving production needs.

Performance Metrics

3D Rigger will be measured according to the metric below

  • On-time delivery of tasks and time management
  • Proactive communication of delays and bottlenecks
  • Delivery of work according to project specifications and requirements
  • Delivery of work according to studio’s quality standards as specified by the discipline lead
  • Following instructions and adhering to best practice
  • Time-track daily with a written status update of your task
    • Daily update on tasks and time-tracking
  • Improve skills and apply learning from one task to the next
