Streamline is a creative development studio specializing in full video game development, game publishing, interactive digital assets, and metaverse creation. We provide experienced professionals to help bring the most demanding projects from concept all the way through production with our technical knowledge of established industry standards for high-performance results along every step. We are seeking a skilled 3D Rigger to collaborate with our team on bringing characters and assets to life in immersive gaming experiences. As a 3D Rigger, you will be responsible for creating high-quality rigs for characters, creatures, and props, ensuring seamless integration into production pipelines. You will work closely with animators and technical artists to deliver rigs that meet project specifications and studio quality standards. Proficiency in tools such as Maya or Blender, auto-rigging systems, Unreal Engine cloth simulation setups, and scripting (Python/MEL) is essential.
The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, proactively communicate delays or challenges, and adhere to best practices. Additional expertise in areas such as anatomy, engine implementation, or advanced rigging tools (e.g., Mgear, Rigify) will be highly valued. This role requires regular task tracking and progress updates aligned with agreed project scopes, as well as the ability to adapt to evolving production needs.
3D Rigger will be measured according to the metric below
3D Rigger will possess the following competencies:
Every 3D Rigger must also demonstrate at least 1 additional competencies at High-proficiency or 2 additional competencies at Production-ready proficiency.
Note: This role is offered on a freelance/contract basis with expectations defined by agreed scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
