About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Product Operations Director with high IQ and EQ, ready to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with opportunities for career advancement.

Why this role exists:

Sezzle connects millions of shoppers with thousands of merchants. We need a leader to define and execute our media strategy, owning the media and affiliate revenue streams within the Sezzle app and beyond—serving as a product, operations, and growth strategist to unlock major media revenue opportunities.

What You'll Do:

• Own the affiliate P&L – set quarterly revenue goals, forecast potential upside, and exceed targets.
• Define Media strategy – benchmark competitors to optimize media opportunities based on inventory and advertiser interest.
• Negotiate & optimize rates – collaborate with Partnerships to improve commissions and bonus tiers.
• Streamline processes – work with Product teams to manage feeds, SKU mapping, tracking links, and attribution for accurate payouts.
• Deploy experiments – partner with Product & Data teams to test paywalls, placements, and promos; scale successful experiments.
• Create a centralized system – consolidate merchant terms, creative assets, and rate cards into an audit-proof system.
• Analyze & report – develop SQL dashboards to monitor drop-offs, detect fraud, and identify high-value opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-team efforts – align with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Support teams to maximize traffic monetization efficiently.

What We Look For:

• 5+ years in product operations, marketing growth, or performance partnerships, preferably in mobile-first or fintech sectors.
• Proven success in increasing revenue through affiliate or partner channels.
• Comfortable negotiating with C-level partners and analyzing SQL data.
• Data-driven mindset; automation of reports is a plus.
• Bonus: experience in fintech, payments, or affiliate marketing.
