Title: Harness Strategy Engineer - Monterrey

Main Responsibilities
  • Define and execute a global strategy for the design, standardization, and optimization of electrical harnesses for specific products within the Common Electrical Systems Engineering group (Crop Care & Combines).
  • Ensure quality and performance of parts for customers by analyzing technical specifications, validating compatibility, and supporting preferred component definitions.
  • Establish and maintain criteria to assess complexity in harness strategy, guiding key decisionsyond design, performance, and manufacturing processes.
  • Explore trends in materials, connectivity, and processes; lead pilot tests and validate feasibility for future programs.
  • Develop and update design guidelines to ensure consistency, compliance, and best practices across all programs.
  • Monitor key indicators such as cost, timelines, and project performance.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with harness suppliers and collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and quality teams to align with program objectives.
What Skills You Need
  • Advanced knowledge in electrical harness design, component selection, and applicable standards.
  • Strong understanding of products within the Common Electrical Systems Engineering group (Crop Care & Combines).
  • Experience in participating and/or leading product development projects (EPDP and/or TDP).
  • Knowledge in Planters and Srpayers.
