A leading agricultural equipment manufacturer in Nuevo León, Mexico is seeking a Software Engineer to work within the Enterprise Technology Engineering Center. The candidate will design and maintain Python-based automated test cases, support test automation frameworks, and work collaboratively in an Agile environment. Ideal candidates have experience in software development, particularly with embedded systems, and must possess excellent communication skills in English. A relevant engineering degree is required.

Formación

• Candidate must have a degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Familiarity with Python and embedded systems is required.
• Experience with automated test frameworks is necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using a Python-based test framework.
• Implement, run, and validate automated tests on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and simulation testbeds.
• Enhance and support the internal test automation framework.

Conocimientos

Object-Oriented Programming with Python for test automation

Testing frameworks

Bazel: create/modify/build targets

Proficiency in Linux CLI for development environments

Version control with Git/GitHub/Graphite

SSH: sessions and key management

Ability to interpret requirements and convert them into automated test cases

Understanding of firmware (Embedded Software) development

Knowledge of embedded systems

Knowledge of Python scripting language

Basic knowledge of Embedded Linux / RTOS

Basic knowledge with debugging tools

Good written and verbal communication skills (English)

Digital Systems, and Robotics Engineering

B.S. Mechatronics Engineering

Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Computer Science or similar
