JOB SUMMARY

The Industrial Engineering Manager will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing integrated production and service delivery systems that ensure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control within the production site. The goal is to achieve profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and continuous improvement of products and services throughout their life cycles.

1. Establish and clearly communicate all global and regional Industrial Engineering strategies to the department.
2. Coach, mentor, and train all engineers within the Industrial Engineering Department.
3. Recruit and retain Industrial Engineering talent within the site.
4. Monitor key Industrial Engineering metrics to report and drive improvements within the site.
5. Develop and maintain the Industrial Engineering succession plan for the site.
6. Standardize Jabil processes across the site according to global and regional directives.
7. Standardize system configurations (e.g., SAP, MES, IEDB).
8. Develop and maintain site process flow charts.
9. Develop, analyze, and maintain accurate department forecasts based on historical and forecast data.
10. Support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and ensuring data integrity to facilitate process improvements.
11. Support and maintain all lower-level Industrial Engineering duties and responsibilities.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Understanding and application of a broad range of industrial engineering tools (e.g., work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, operations research).
• Understanding of Jabil’s global strategies and direction.
• Understanding of the site’s facilities and capabilities and their alignment with Jabil’s strategies.
• Understanding of the complete Sales to Payment process.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• Proven success in change management, continuous improvement, and cost reduction programs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Visio, Project, and email.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Production Engineering.
• MS in Industrial Engineering or MBA preferred.
• Lean Silver Certificate or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
