About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is analytical at their core, comfortable with data pipelines, and able to bridge the gap between data analysis and engineering. You will help transform raw data into actionable insights and contribute to the design and optimization of our analytics infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Build and maintain data models, transformations, and pipelines (using SQL and dbt).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics, reporting requirements, and support data governance and ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
• Document processes, workflows, and analysis outcomes for cross-functional.
• Work with U.S. government-related datasets and provide domain-specific knowledge.
• Apply Python and data science techniques for deeper analysis, forecasting, or other advanced analytics.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering, or a related role.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, etc.) for data wrangling and exploratory analysis.
• Strong skills in SQL (querying, optimization, data modeling).
• Experience with dbt (building transformations, version control workflows).
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehouse concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with U.S. government datasets.
• Exposure to data science workflows such as modeling, ML, or statistical analysis. Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery for querying, modeling, and analytics.
