This role requires strong Linux expertise and scripting skills in Python and Bash. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience working in large-scale environments, with responsibilities including troubleshooting, documentation, and 24/7 support. Formación

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration, preferably in cloud or large-scale environments.
• Hands-on experience with mission-critical systems and automation.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, monitor, and optimize production systems and databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Support infrastructure for Oracle systems and database appliances.
• Participate in operating system upgrades and standardization.
• Continuously improve system resilience and supportability.
• Write and maintain documentation and procedures.
• Provide rotational on-call support for production systems.

Conocimientos

Strong Linux system administration experience

Scripting skills in Python

Scripting skills in Bash/Shell

Understanding of networking fundamentals

Experience with monitoring and automation tools

Experience supporting highly available environments

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Administer, monitor, and optimize production systems and databases supporting global business operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, often acting as the escalation point for high-impact incidents.
• Support infrastructure for Oracle systems and database appliances, focusing on performance, availability, and automation.
• Participate in operating system upgrades, bug fixes, patching, and infrastructure standardization initiatives.
• Continuously look for ways to improve system resilience, supportability, and scalability in a fast‑growing environment.
• Write and maintain documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Provide rotational on‑call support, helping maintain 24/7 uptime for production systems.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong Linux system administration experience (preferably in cloud or large‑scale environments)
• Solid scripting skills in Python and Bash/Shell
• Understanding of networking fundamentals
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring and automation tools
• Experience supporting mission‑critical, highly available environments.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Oracle technologies or OCI
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines or infrastructure‑as‑code
• Familiarity with service‑level objectives (SLOs), SLAs, and KPIs in a production setting
