Role Overview

We’re looking for a motivated, dynamic Credit Analyst / Data Scientist to implement and manage credit models and policies. You’ll apply analytical models to improve decisions around credit risk, loan approvals, and fraud prevention. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals with 1-2 years of experience who want to apply their analytical skills in a fast-moving, collaborative fintech environment. You’ll play a key role in building models and translating analytical insights into clear, actionable policies that ensure the quality and effectiveness of our credit decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build, implement, and monitor predictive models and credit strategies.
• Help design and roll out credit policies based on analytical models.
• Analyze credit data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Continuously track policy performance, produce clear reports, and propose enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to align risk and fraud strategies.

Qualifications

Must have:

• Recent graduate with 1-2 years of professional experience.
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related fields.
• Experience with SQL and Python.
• Strong foundation in statistics and data analysis.
• Good understanding of machine learning algorithms and metrics.

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in credit or fraud prevention.
• Experience with GitHub.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Experience with AI frameworks.

• Analytical, results-oriented, proactive, and self-directed.
• Comfortable working independently on a project, as well as working alongside a team.
