PATH is seeking candidates passionate about helping others make a positive change in their lives to join our Site Based Housing team as the Activities Coordinator at the San Jose Office.
ABOUT PATH
Since its foundation in 1984, PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. PATH operates services throughout California, connecting our clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention, street outreach, employment preparation and placement assistance, individualized case management, supportive services, interim housing, and permanent supportive housing.
As part of the Site Based Housing team, the Activities Coordinator will offer activities in a permanent supportive housing setting for individuals, integrating evidenced-based practices effective with tenants who have experienced homelessness and have a history of chronic health, mental health, and/or co-occurring conditions. They will develop and lead residential activities and workshops, develop relationships with community partners and volunteers, coordinate activities, schedule community outings for residents, greet clients as they enter the facility, assist with signing clients up for orientations and workshops, and educate clients and other programs on current rules and referral processes.
