Job summary
A global pharmaceutical manufacturer is seeking a Commercial Director for the Animal Health sector. The role involves leading a team of over 100 employees across Italy. Responsibilities include managing relationships with veterinarians and distributors, preparing sales forecasts, and identifying new market opportunities. Candidates must have experience in the Animal Health industry, with strong leadership skills. This is a remote position with expectations to travel within Italy.

- Experience within the companion animal sector, with Bovine and Equine knowledge as a plus.
- Proven experience leading sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of over 100 employees with 8 direct reports.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports.
- Identify and seize new market opportunities.
Skills
Title: Commercial Director - Animal Health
Location: Italy - Remote with expectation to travel within Italy
Reports to: CEO
- Commercial Director opening with a global pharmaceutical manufacturer operating within the veterinary / animal health market.
- Responsible for managing a team of 100+, with 8 direct reports across Italy.
- Manage relationships with distributors, veterinary clinics, pet shops, pharmacies, and wholesalers.
- Identify and seize new market opportunities, both domestically and internationally.
- Responsible for preparing sales forecasts, budgets, and reports.
- Must have experience within the Animal Health industry - specifically the companion animal sector alongside Bovine and Equine as a plus!
- Must have proven experience leading sales teams.
- Strong understanding of international distribution channels.
