MISSION:

We are seeking an Operations Buyer to join the Purchasing team at the Lagostina production site in Omegna. Omegna specializes in manufacturing pressure cookers, pots, and pans under the Lagostina brand.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager for the Cookware Business Unit (approx. €15M spend across 5 sites), your focus will be on generating productivity and value by collaborating with various departments and supporting the Purchasing teams. Your main responsibilities include:

1. Managing daily activities related to Purchasing families within the Cookware cluster, aligned with category strategies.
2. Proposing and leading local productivity initiatives and value creation from RP4 (Mass production start).
3. Deploying productivity plans from category leaders for current and upcoming years.
4. Implementing purchasing action plans at the Omegna site, coordinating with other sites in the cluster.
5. Participating in the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process.
6. Engaging with the Purchasing community to define strategies with category leaders.

PROFILE:

1. Engineering, Business, or Purchasing degree with at least five years of experience in a direct purchasing role within a medium to large industrial company.
2. Experience in industrial activities (R&D, Quality, Logistics, Operations) is preferred, with good knowledge of metal parts production/transformation.
3. Strong ability to work cross-functionally, interfacing with five other sites in different geographies and global Purchasing teams.
4. Fluent in Italian and English.
