Main Responsibilities

• Studies technical drawings or specifications and visualizes the shape of die, part, or tool
• Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Operates various tool room machining equipment (e.g., surface grinding, milling, drilling)
• Has a minimum of 5 years of tool‑making experience
• Displays assembly and troubleshooting skills
• Updates job sheets
• Contributes concepts and ideas for tool improvement
• Follows up on tooling improvement activities
• Updates spare record and maintains spare based on MPS
• Awareness of safety requirements for troubleshooting, tool assembly, and machine operation
• Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor/leader

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Tool & die or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or technical training on tooling (Tool & Die)/Professional certificate or equivalent
• Willing to work in Batam
• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Ability to read customer drawings/internal drawings for stamp parts with machining process
• Attendance to internal meetings for technical discussion or improvement study
