Technical Support Engineer - Printing & Packaging Solutions
Our client is a renowned chemical manufacturing company in Adhesive tapes. We are looking for an exceptional individual to join as a Technical Support Engineer for Printing & Packaging Solutions.
Responsibilities
- TSE supports the sales team on-site at customer projects based on a request set by sales, approved with the Head of TSE/CSC local and aligned with the Business Unit TSE.
- TSE evaluates the necessary technical support by project, conducts the required application tests in the local CSC to support the customer and the sales team for qualifying and/or developing the best solution, and raises Leap requests if tests cannot be done locally in alignment with the region Head of TSE.
- Interprets and validates test results and prepares suitable presentations on results and proposed next steps for the sales team or for the customer directly.
- Communicates with customers to gather the necessary technical information for processes and applications.
- Trains and qualifies sales teams to develop the required technical sales skills and keeps them up to date based on the newest developments of the BU and market trends.
- Trains customers through seminars, Tech Days or participation in trade shows to support and develop brand awareness and act as a partner for solution design and innovation.
What It Takes
Skills and Knowledge:
- Degree in Engineering (Bachelor or Master) in Chemistry, Mechanical, or equivalent.
- English language proficiency (TOEFL 90/120 or equivalent certification).
- Experience working in a lab and conducting development assessments.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales support and customer consultancy in industrial consumables, investment goods, or the flexo printing industry.
