Mini-App team a newly formed yet tightly knit team on a bold mission within Grab. Though small in size, the Mini-App team brings together a powerhouse of experienced professionals from diverse backgrounds, each a specialist in their domain. Our team is focusing on identifying and nurturing Grab's next growth engines by collaborating with high-potential partners across the region. Through these partnerships, we aim to co-create innovative solutions that mutually strengthen and expand our ecosystem advantage.

As a Senior Manager of Strategy, Mini-App Business, you will lead the launch and scaling of our mini-app business from the ground up. This is a unique 0-1 opportunity to build a new business within Grab, leveraging our extensive user base, robust platform, and strong market presence. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Product Strategy & Product Operations.

This role is based onsite in South Jakarta, Indonesia office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
  • Strategy Development: You will define and execute the overall strategy for Grab's mini-app business, including market entry, competitive positioning, business model, and growth levers.
  • Business Launch & Incubation: You will lead the end-to-end launch of the mini-app platform, including product conceptualization, platform development, partner acquisition, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ecosystem Building: You will identify, onboard, and manage strategic mini-app partners, fostering a vibrant ecosystem of diverse applications.
  • Revenue Generation: You will develop and implement monetization strategies to drive transaction value and revenue growth for the mini-app business.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: You will work closely with product, engineering, business development, marketing, and legal teams to ensure seamless integration and successful execution.
  • Market Analysis & Insights: You will monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and user behavior to identify new opportunities and optimize the mini-app offering.
  • Team Leadership: You will potentially build and lead a small, dedicated team as the business scales.
