A company in chemical trading is seeking a Salesperson to manage customer relationships in Jakarta Utara, Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting clients, addressing complaints, and preparing sales reports. A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Business Studies and 2 years of experience in a similar role are essential. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia are required, alongside a valid driving license. This role demands a proactive approach to meet sales targets.
Report directly to the Sales Manager (Jakarta Office)
To visit all assigned or potential customers in their territory, communicate, and persuade the customer to buy our product regularly
A daily/weekly/monthly visiting report to make sure the job is done and the sales target is achieved.
Address issues bordering on pricing, delivery of goods/services, and resolution of customer complaints
Maintain an updated knowledge of the company’s goals, vision, and values to ensure appropriate prioritising
Collaborate in the team to plan and develop effective sales strategies, and to set goals and targets
Perform administrative tasks of transaction recording, filing, and inventory
Maintain contact with clients to create a good working relationship that fosters increased sales and customer base
Display and explain company products/services to potential clients to influence purchase
Ensure adherence to the work policies, ethics, and regulations
