Job Overview

Overlooking the scenic South China Sea, an hour away by ferry from Singapore, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon will introduce Swiss‑inspired hospitality to Bintan in celebration of Mövenpick's rich culinary legacy. Job Description

We are seeking a Reservation Agent to join our team in Movenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon, Indonessia. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a professional experience from the initial reservation process.

  • Deliver professional and efficient customer service to all guests
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and online reservation requests with utmost professionalism
  • Optimize revenue through strategic recommendation of additional services and amenities
  • Provide comprehensive information about our property, facilities, and accommodate special requests
  • Ensure accurate processing of reservations, including correct recording of all guest details and preferences
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and address any concerns
  • Maintain current knowledge of promotions, rates, and availability to provide precise information
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of the property's policies, procedures, and services
  • Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Contribute to the achievement of team objectives and uphold high standards of service
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year experience in the same field at the hospitality industry.
  • Fluency in English; additional language (Mandarin, Japan, Korean, French) skills are a plus
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a guest‑focused personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and basic computer applications
  • Ability to multi‑task and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
