Job summary

Job description

PT. United Family Food is a leading confectionery company, committed to continuously delivering the best products and services to our customers. We are looking for a passionate and experienced R&D Packaging Senior Staff professional to join our team!

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct packaging development trials for both new and existing packaging at laboratory and production scale.
2. Inspect packaging materials to ensure they meet quality and food safety requirements.
3. Perform shelf-life testing for projects involving changes to existing packaging materials.
4. Prepare packaging material specifications.
5. Develop the Bill of Materials (BOM) for packaging and assist in configuring finished product specifications in collaboration with Product R&D.
6. Coordinate with suppliers and relevant departments to propose ideas for packaging development and quality improvement.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders and monitor project progress to ensure alignment with the timeline.
8. Conduct benchmarking with relevant departments to develop innovative packaging ideas.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology and Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in R&D Packaging.
• Understanding of food packaging materials and specifications.
• Familiarity with technical drawings.
• Proficiency in drawing software such as Visio, CAD, and Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
• Knowledge of quality and food safety standards: ISO, BRC, ISO 22000, HACCP, VACCP.
