About the role

We are seeking a dedicated QA Assistant Technician to join our team at PT Dynacast Indonesia (Batam) in Batam, Riau Islands. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the high quality of our manufacturing processes and products. As the QA Assistant Technician, you will play a vital part in upholding our exceptional standards and supporting the continuous improvement of our operations.

What you'll be doing

Conducting thorough inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and final products to verify adherence to quality standards

Documenting and maintaining detailed quality control records, including test results and nonconformance reports

Collaborating with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner

Assisting in the implementation and continuous refinement of quality control procedures and systems

Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control practices

Participating in quality improvement projects and initiatives

Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality, health, and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Senior High School or Diploma in a relevant field, such as quality assurance, engineering, or manufacturing

1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Support in process inspection, FA, COA, and FIC activity

Have competency in CMM program

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate quality records

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality control documentation

Proficient in the use of quality control equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and testing instruments

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues

Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with production staff

Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
