Job summary

A leading goods manufacturing company is looking for an experienced professional to lead their Production Product Development team. This role involves overseeing the transition of new and revised products into production while ensuring quality standards are met. Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in softgoods product development, strong construction knowledge of bags and accessories, and proficiency in ERP systems. The position is contract-based, located in Nganjuk, Indonesia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in softgoods product development or production.
• Strong technical construction knowledge of bags and accessories.
• Fluent in factory communication, BOM interpretation, and QC feedback loops.
• Proficient in ERP/PLM systems and tech pack documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage team workload across product categories.
• Conduct weekly factory line audits and WIP reviews for first production runs.
• Coordinate spot checks of ongoing production for all products.
• Sign off on gold seal samples in collaboration with QA and Development.
• Lead post-production reviews and maintain continuous improvement loop.

Job description

Leads the Production Product Development team in overseeing the transition of new and revised products from development into production. Ensures consistency of product execution, accuracy of construction and material application, and resolution of production issues in real-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage team workload across product categories (golf bags, towels, umbrellas, headcovers, lifestyle bags).
• Conduct weekly factory line audits and WIP reviews for first production runs.
• Coordinates spot checks of ongoing production for all products.
• Sign off on gold seal samples in collaboration with QA and Development.
• Lead post-production reviews and maintain a continuous improvement loop with QA, Engineering, and PD.
• Maintain library of gold seal samples, tech packs, and approved construction details.
• Train factories on complex construction processes or changes from proto stage.
• Escalate production issues with root cause analysis and solution plans.
• Lead PQ meetings with Customer Engineer and collaborate with QA/IE on approval and any CAP/CAR needed.

Required Qualifications
