Job Description

Responsible for the supply of products, materials, components, and services essential for the Company's operations and manufacturing of the Company's products. Manage and motivate a team of procurers with a strategy to minimize procurement costs and maintain on-time deliveries while maintaining the expected level of quality so that the company can produce more competitively, maximize profits, grow faster, and invest more in its people. Manage and monitor the department operations to meet the required objective.

Requirements

• Excellent negotiation skills, ability to negotiate at the highest management levels of suppliers and subcontractors
• Excellent understanding and experience of the full range of procurement categories within the steel structure sector, including but not limited to steel raw materials, bolts and nuts, components, consumables, tools, corrosion protection, subcontracting services, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of and experience with the full spectrum of imports, exports, and corresponding regulations and documentation
• Excellent knowledge and experience of local and international transportation
• Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or in Purchasing/Inventory/Materials Control
• A minimum of 10 years of working experience in Procurement Management within the Steel Structure sector
• Preferably understands common international standards of steel materials and material testing (JIS, ASTM/ASME, etc.) for steel plates, steel shapes, sizes, and grades
• Have a good knowledge and experience with SAP systems
