Job description
Overview

Pricing Operations Senior Associate – Jakarta. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Pricing Operations Senior Associate to ensure the smooth, accurate and data-driven execution of our Pricing operations. This role is the guardian of pricing accuracy and a vital bridge between data and decision-making within our Retail BU.

You will work hands-on with data, systems resources and already implemented processes to ensure pricing runs seamlessly while delivering actionable insights to optimize business outcomes. You will also oversee our Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO) activities for competitors prices scraping, maintain visibility of competitors coverage, monitor Pricing analytics quality and continuously drive operational improvement. This is a high-responsibility role where precision, analytical thinking and cross-functional collaboration come together to maintain our competitive edge in a very challenging e-commerce market.

Key Pillars of the Role
  • Pricing Operations & Accuracy Control — Execute daily and periodic Pricing updates with speed and precision. Maintain the highest accuracy in Pricing uploads, ensuring compliance with internal policies and market regulations. Investigate and resolve discrepancies quickly to minimize any negative impact.
  • Competitor Scraping & Coverage Management — Manage HRO teams responsible for competitor data scraping, ensuring data collected is comprehensive and relevant. Maintain competitor coverage visibility, oversee scraping schedules and ensure high data quality. Collaborate with vendors or internal teams to troubleshoot scraping issues and continuously optimize collection methods.
  • SKU Sanity Checks & Quality Control — Perform thorough post-scraping SKU checks to verify accuracy and completeness. Identify data gaps, anomalies, or inconsistencies and address them with the HRO or relevant teams. Track and report productivity and quality metrics, generating actionable insights to improve Pricing operations and system performance.
  • Pricing Data Analysis & Insights — Analyze Pricing performance and trends to identify both opportunities and risks. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports as well as trackers using Excel and SQL. Provide timely and actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • System & Process Optimization — Contribute to the enhancement and automation of pricing tools and processes. Partner with product, data and our operations teams to improve system efficiency, reduce manual work, and speed up decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with commercial, product, and operations teams to ensure pricing strategies align with broader business objectives. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination.
What You Bring / Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset and a strong sense of ownership, eager to continue shaping this role within our experienced Retail team. You thrive in cross-functional environments, are comfortable with ambiguity and are unafraid to take initiative or get hands-on when needed.

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field with minimum 6 years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong command of SQL
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or other fast-paced, data-driven environments is an advantage while a previous Pricing experience is welcomed but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills for cross-team collaboration
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Sharp analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset as well as comfortable with ambiguity
  • Adaptability and flexibility to support key platform events and mega campaigns, ensuring timely execution and responsiveness during peak periods
  • Experience in documentation, governance, and cross-team collaboration, with initial exposure to managing HRO teams considered a plus
What Success Looks Like

In your first 6-12 months, you will:

  • Be familiar and take full ownership of our competitor scraping activities as well as maintaining high level of accuracy in Pricing quality control and daily operations
  • Data inconsistencies and pain points are addressed through proactive fixes
  • You are recognized as a trusted partner and problem solver across teams, successfully support key campaign periods with accurate, timely and well-coordinated Pricing execution
  • Drive our Pricing dashboards improvements to reduce manual work and speed up decision-making
