Your day at NTT DATA

The Presales Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support, methods, and systems to enable the sales teams to achieve data center service sales goals and objectives.

What you'll be doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and work closely with Delivery, Sales, and Product teams to support each other as one team
• Support proposal development for Sales
• Analyze customer requirements for data center services from business and technical perspectives
• Create proposal documents for customers
• Present data center solutions and conduct site tours for customers
• Prepare responses for RFI/RFP requests from customers
• Design server room layouts according to customer requests in cooperation with Operations
• Manage and update standard price lists by analyzing service costs
• Calculate costs based on proposed layouts and specifications
• Manage templates for quotations and proposals
• Oversee all proposals regarding feasibility, layout, and service requests
• Coordinate with internal teams (HR, Procurement, Finance, Sales, Operations) and external stakeholders (customers, vendors, group companies) to finalize project specifications
• Participate in management meetings to discuss corporate plans, process improvements, and project updates
• Innovate internal processes and standardize procedures
• Document processes and create visualizations or forms
• Measure KPIs and generate various reports
• Implement automation where possible

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Information Technology, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Data Center or related industries
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints for customer explanations
• Desirable certifications: CDCP/CDCS/CDCE, ITIL, CCNA/CCNP
• Leadership qualities, challenge spirit, honesty, and responsibility
• Good understanding of relevant regulations and excellent communication, reporting, and IT skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written English communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively, influence others, prioritize tasks, multitask, and work under pressure
• Polite and professional demeanor with the public
