A leading F&B company in Tangerang is seeking a Head of Production Planning and Inventory Control. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in production planning and inventory control, particularly in the Food and Beverage industry. Responsibilities include analyzing production plans, managing inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely supply and logistics coordination. Strong leadership and project management skills are essential. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focusing on fulfillment and quality control.
Analyze production plan by calculating the data of demand, production capacity, delivery planning, warehouse capacity, and other matters having significant impact to ensure the production runs timely and accurately matched with demand.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management - F&B Trading Focus
Demand and Sales Analysis: Analyze historical data of product dispatch and sales forecasts from Marketing/Operations to anticipate future demand.
Inventory Level Management: Establish and monitor Par Levels for both Finished Goods (FG) and Raw Materials (RM) requirements across all distribution points (warehouses, central kitchen, etc.).
Procurement and Material Planning: Forecast all material needs for procurement. Approve Purchase Requisitions (PRs) based on material/trading stock requirements, ensuring an adequate and continuous supply of all necessary items.
Quality and Yield Control (for repacked/processed goods): Analyze production/repacking yields against Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements where applicable.
Inventory Monitoring and Accuracy: Continuously monitor all inventory levels and movement during the receiving, repacking/staging, and dispatch processes. Generate inventory data for the Finance team. Ensure 100% accuracy of product movement both internally and externally (e.g., between warehouses and to customers).
Logistics Coordination: Liaise closely with the Purchasing/Logistics team on the timely delivery of all materials and trading stock.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues such as stock discrepancies, quality problems, and material/order delays. Coordinate with the relevant departments (e.g., Warehouse, Sales, Quality Control) to find solutions.
Performance Tracking: Generate reports and use monitoring tools to track stock progress, ensuring continuous supply and on-time product delivery to customers.
Fulfillment Goal: Achieve a 100% fulfillment rate to customer orders.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Liaise with Marketing and Operations regarding any promotions, new product launches, or events to ensure all required supply and trading stock can be fulfilled accordingly.
Bachelor’s Degree in any field from a reputable university.
5+ years experience working in production planning and inventory control. Experience in the Food and Beverage industry is a plus.
Deep understanding and experience with press / assembling / packing & delivery to customer.
Adaptable and able to handle changing priorities and deadlines, the Food and Beverage industry is fast‑paced, and priorities can change quickly.
Strong leadership and good project management skills.
