  • Lead process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Control and manage the unit’s budget and resources.
  • Ensure regular training and development for staff.
  • Oversee security at the VAC to prevent breaches.
  • Mentor team members and ensure succession planning.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall responsibility of the business unit and ensure profitability (EBIT).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with consulate officials.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational processes and ISO standards.
  • Manage team efficiency and productivity to meet objectives.
  • Lead process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Implement new processes and ensure smooth rollouts in the Visa Application Centres (VACs).
  • Control and manage the unit’s budget and resources.
  • Ensure regular training and development for staff.
  • Oversee security (physical and data) at the VAC to prevent breaches.
  • Drive and maintain value-added services to meet performance targets.
  • Work with the Value-Added Services team to create new revenue channels.
  • Mentor team members and ensure succession planning.
  • Act as a counselor and provide guidance to junior staff.
  • Liaise with support functions (HR, Finance, Administration, etc.).
  • Forecast manpower needs, especially during peak seasons.
  • Ensure the health and safety of employees, especially during busy periods.
Education

Minimum: Graduate (from any major) or global equivalent

Experience

5 to 9 years of experience, preferably in the Service industry

Experience in handling teams and managing processes
