Responsibilities

• Establish and improve material planning processes.
• Responsible for procurement of various materials.
• Provide procurement suggestions based on sales forecasts.
• Coordinate shipment of finished products and ensure timely delivery.
• Supervise use and avoid waste of materials.
• Manage inventory safety and stock levels.
• Update procurement information for planners.
• Assist in reviewing and negotiating contracts.
• Control costs for procurement projects.
• Develop supplier information for essential materials.
• Manage procurement system and organize documents.
• Coordinate payment settlements with suppliers.

Job description

Establish and improve material planning processes and systems to ensure the smooth implementation of material plans; formulate procurement systems and processes.

Be responsible for the procurement of materials such as production raw materials, auxiliary materials, and semi-finished products.

Based on sales forecasts and production plans, provide reasonable procurement suggestions, control inventory status, and purchase relevant materials in a timely manner to meet production needs.

Transmit shipment information to client, follow up and coordinate the shipment of finished products to ensure timely delivery, and be responsible for reporting and organizing the status of orders.

Follow up on the use of materials and supervise the unauthorized use and waste of materials.

Control the safety and maximum stock of commonly used materials and key materials.

Be responsible for various procurement tasks by different departments of the company.

Update and maintain procurement lead time, minimum order quantity, procurement quotation and other information in a timely manner for planners to formulate reasonable plans.

Assist in the review and negotiation of procurement, service and other contracts.

Assist in the cost control for procurement projects.

Establish, manage, evaluate and develop supplier information for raw materials, auxiliary materials, machinery and equipment, tools, spare parts, logistics and office supplies.

Improve relevant operations of the MRPII system, manage purchase orders, quotations and supplier information, and organize and file documents, materials and contracts of the department.

Coordinate the payment settlement work with suppliers.

Perform ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

Be familiar with the knowledge of import and export trade. Have a certain understanding of factory operations and quality management systems.

More than 2 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry. Medical device industry is a plus.

College degree or above.

Proficient in using office software. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
