We are representing one of our client in the mining industry who is looking to expand their team
Job Description
- Managing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control and storage processes.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
- Coordinating with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Monitoring stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Implementing strategies to optimise warehouse workflows and space utilisation.
- Supervising and training warehouse staff to maintain high performance standards.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate records of inventory and shipments.
- Collaborating with other departments to support overall operational goals.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor\'s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in warehouse/inventory management, preferably in mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
- Proven experience in forecasting usage and managing critical consumables (fuel, lubricants, tires, spare parts).
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing warehouse teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Familiar with HSE standards and safe material handling practices in mining environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
- Willing to be placed in Halmahera on a roster basis.
