Role Overview

My client is a fund management firm with institutional experience, with portfolio companies including globally renowned university endowments, century-old family offices, sovereign wealth funds, large central/state‑owned enterprises, fund‑of‑funds, and prominent entrepreneurs reaching a combined market capitalization of over USD 100 billion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead financing activities outside Indonesia, primarily Singapore and Hong Kong, engaging banks and IBs (e.g. DBS, OCBC, HSBC, Citi, UBS, etc.).
2. Build and manage corporate loan facilities, bilateral/multilateral debt structures, and bank relationships.
3. Optimize and expand the overall funding structure, improving cost, tenor, and flexibility.
4. Identify and execute new financing and strategic funding opportunities across regions.
5. Work hands‑on with internal stakeholders and directly report to the CEO on financing matters.

Requirements

1. VP level or above with solid corporate loan experience from banks or IBs.
2. Strong HK/SG market experience, with established lender relationships in these regions.
3. Background in large international banks (e.g. HSBC, Citi, DBS, OCBC, Standard Chartered).
4. Willing to be hands‑on and execution‑driven (not a pure relationship/front‑facing role).
5. Comfortable being based in Jakarta with frequent travel across HK / SG / Indonesia.
6. (SG base with frequent travel can be considered).
