We are looking for a General Manager Operations for our client, a leading multinational company in the tobacco sector.

The role will be responsible for leading the entire plant & manufacturing operations, covering production, people, compliance, and overall results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Economics.
  • 5–10 years’ proven experience leading large-scale manufacturing operations, ideally in tobacco, or in branded consumer goods/food industries.
  • Strong leadership track record managing 1,000+ employees, with solid experience coordinating across multiple departments.
  • Certified in Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and industry regulations, with established networks with regulators and local communities.

  • Lead and manage all plant & manufacturing operations.
  • Deliver strong performance in cost efficiency, productivity, quality, waste reduction, and on-time delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and labor laws.
