Job Purpose

The Field Operation Manager (FOM) leads commercial execution and sales performance across two district areas while directly managing one strategic territory. This role is critical in translating national strategies into actionable field plans, ensuring operational excellence, and driving sustainable growth. The FOM also plays a key role in developing district teams and aligning cross-functional execution.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Multi-District Sales Execution

  • Lead and monitor sales performance across two districts and one personal area.
  • Ensure alignment with national commercial strategy and achievement of KPIs.

Team Leadership and Coaching

  • Provide coaching and performance management to District Sales Managers and their teams.
  • Build field capabilities and succession pipelines through ongoing development and structured feedback.

Territory Management

  • Manage one key territory directly to pilot execution models and stay connected to field realities.

Strategic Planning and Resource Allocation

  • Lead territory planning, optimize resource use, and ensure budget efficiency across assigned areas.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Medical, Supply Chain, and Market Access to ensure coordinated execution and market responsiveness.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure ethical standards, local regulatory compliance, and proper documentation in all field activities.
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor\'s degree in pharmacy, Nutrition, Business, or a related field. Master\'s Degree (MBA) is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8–10 years of commercial experience in healthcare/nutrition/pharma.
  • At least min 5 years in a leadership role such as District Sales Manager, managing teams and delivering strong performance.
  • Experience in multi-territory or regional field management is preferred.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • In-depth understanding of field force execution, market dynamics, and product knowledge.

Financial Responsibility:

  • Accountable for managing 40–45% of total national IMS Ethical sales.
  • Oversees budget and resource optimization across assigned districts.

Key Challenges:

  • Managing performance variability across diverse regions.
  • Adapting national strategy to fit local needs while maintaining execution consistency
