A fashion company in Jakarta Selatan is seeking a Fashion Merchandiser to oversee the production lifecycle from development to delivery. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and 1–3 years of experience in production coordination. Responsibilities include liaising among teams, managing timelines, and ensuring high-quality standards in product delivery. Proficiency in project management tools and strong negotiation skills are essential.
The Fashion Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production lifecycle — from development through delivery. This role requires strong coordination between internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure that all products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Act as the primary liaison between Design, Product Development, and Production teams.
Manage product development timelines, sample tracking, and approval processes.
Prepare, update, and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs), spec sheets, and production documentation.
Coordinate with suppliers and factories to ensure on-time production, quality standards, and order fulfillment.
Monitor production schedules, proactively identify potential delays, and develop solutions.
Conduct regular market, price, and trend analysis to optimize product performance and cost efficiency.
Support inventory planning through accurate forecasting based on production timelines and demand patterns.
Ensure alignment with brand standards across all stages of product manufacturing.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in fashion merchandising, production coordination, or buying.
Solid understanding of production processes, fabrications, trims, and quality control.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and project management tools.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong business acumen and passion for the fashion industry.
Preferred Experience :
Experience in modest fashion, lifestyle brands, or fast fashion production.
Familiarity with both local and international manufacturing ecosystems.
Basic knowledge of cost engineering and margin management.
