Overview
Electrical Engineer PLC & Analog Automation position in Jakarta for a manufacturing company.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and automation-related issues to ensure minimal equipment downtime and optimal system uptime.
- Monitor and drive performance to meet or exceed KPIs related to maintenance, efficiency, and system reliability.
- Plan, execute, and oversee electrical and automation projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness.
- Support initiatives for digital system improvements, automation upgrades, and data integration for operational visibility.
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley).
- Work with analog automation systems, design and implement control panels and HMI interfaces as needed.
- Configure and maintain drives/inverters such as Fuji Electric and Parker to control motor speeds and process variables.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical reports, maintenance logs, and project documentation for internal tracking and audits.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Min 2-3 years of experience as Electrical Engineer, automation, and maintenance.
- Experience in inverter, drive control, analog automation and PLC programming.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- Experience in computer operations (Ms. Office, Visio or Autocad).
