The candidate will handle customs clearance processes, maintain relationships with customs officials, and work proactively with vendors. A Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of experience in logistics and customs affairs are required.

Qualifications

  • Obtain PPJK certificate is preferable.
  • More than 5 years of experience in logistics, import & export, customs affairs.

Responsibilities

Overview

Customs Specialist (PPJK Certified & Experienced in Manufacturing)

Responsible to handle compliance activity predominantly customs clearance of import and export shipments, which involves monitoring day to day shipments, maintain, submission of data and documentation as per customs rules and regulation. Responding on queries raised by customs officials, prioritizing the shipment clearances based on company requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Handling the customs clearance activity with good knowledge about Indonesian customs regulations, documentation requirements, processes, and procedures. Follow up for duty and tax payment reconciliation.
  • Handling licenses, like Master list, Forestry Permit (PI), and others involves keeping track of all the shipments using these licenses and monitoring the quota without any issues.
  • Build and maintain good relations with the customs officials where Lamipak Indonesia applies for exports and imports.
  • Proactively work with factories and vendors to validate the opportunity of preferential duty saving from some method like Form E/D, RECP, bounded material, etc.
  • Perform the HS code reading and apply it correctly.
  • Having good knowledge of international trade and Incoterms
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/ Transportation/ Logistics.
  • Obtain PPJK certificate is preferable.
  • More than 5 years of experience in logistics, import & export, and customs affairs.
  • Having an experience to concepts and processes of International supply chain and transportation sector.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other Logistics Inventory System.
  • Able to communicate effectively with government agencies, service providers, and senior levels of management.
  • Able to be a team player, collaborate with other member in the organization.
