A leading retail jewelry company in Indonesia is seeking a Legal Compliance Manager to develop and implement compliance strategies with local regulations. You will handle corporate legal matters, ensuring all business units maintain necessary licenses and approvals. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Law, at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, and exceptional negotiation skills. This role requires detail-oriented professionals capable of independent and collaborative work.
Develop, implement, and monitor compliance strategies to ensure full adherence to Indonesian investment regulations and applicable laws.
Ensure all business units and divisions obtain, maintain, and renew required licenses, permits, and legal approvals in a timely manner.
Manage and oversee corporate legal matters, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory documentation.
Be responsible for the protection and management of all company brands, trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights.
Ensure there is no plagiarism or unauthorized use of company brands, trademarks, or intellectual property across all channels.
Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with relevant government institutions, regulators, and related authorities.
Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on business operations, providing legal and compliance advice to management.
Handle compliance audits, legal risk assessments, and reporting to ensure continuous regulatory readiness.
Act as a key advisor to management on legal, compliance, and regulatory matters.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (S.H.) or equivalent; Master’s degree is an advantage.
Licensed Advocate (PERADI or equivalent) is a PLUS
Minimum 5 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably in retail, luxury goods, investment, or multinational companies.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian investment regulations, licensing, corporate law, and intellectual property law.
Proven experience in managing business licenses and regulatory compliance across multiple divisions.
Solid understanding of trademark, brand protection, copyright, and anti-plagiarism practices.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with government bodies and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
High integrity, strong leadership skills, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
