A leading energy firm in Jakarta Selatan seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage supplier relationships in the coal industry. Responsibilities include coordinating negotiations, preparing contracts, and monitoring delivery progress. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, strong communication skills, and experience in procurement and supplier management. Proficiency in Indonesian and English is required, and Mandarin is a plus.
Source Data Collection & Updating:
Recording changes in prices, quality specifications, and supply conditions periodically.
Coordination and Initial Negotiations with Suppliers:
Supporting the procurement team in negotiating prices, volumes, and supply schedules.
Document and Contract Administration:
Preparing and archiving coal purchase bid documents, agreements, and contracts.
Ensuring the completeness of supplier legal and technical documents before transactions proceed, and inputting contract data into the internal database.
Supply Realization Monitoring:
Monitoring the progress of supplier deliveries according to the contract (schedule, quantity, and quality), Following up on any supply deviations, delays, or quality discrepancies.
Site Visit and On-site Inspection:
Make business trip to the mine, survey mine site condition , taking samples, and occasionally witness the loading process.
Strong knowledge of the coal industry and understanding of the procurement process.
Experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and logistics.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Proficiency in Indonesian and English languages, Mandarin is a plus.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Experience in the energy or mining industry is a plus.
