About the job Accounting Manager (Reporting & PSAK 117)

Overview:

We are currently looking for an experienced Accounting Manager for our client, a leading insurancecompany, with a strong background in regulatory reporting and PSAK 117 implementation. This rolewill be key in coordinating financial reports for local regulators and the group level, working closelywith Actuary and IT teams in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of PSAK 117 in collaboration with Actuary and IT teams.
  • Ensure accurate interpretation and application of PSAK 117 in reporting processes.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and audited financial reports to OJK in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate OJK business plan and realization reports with the Actuary team.
  • Monitor changes in OJK reporting regulations and ensure readiness for compliance.
  • Prepare and submit BI KPPK reports in line with Bank Indonesia guidelines.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all data requests from regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate the preparation of group-level financial reporting to HQ in collaboration with Actuary.
  • Review accuracy of general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation.
  • Ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal policies.
  • Lead and manage the reporting team, providing development support and succession planning.
  • Foster a strong culture of compliance and financial integrity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 -8 years of experience in financial reporting or statutory reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of PSAK (especially PSAK 117), IFRS, and regulatory requirements (OJK & BI).
  • Proven experience in coordinating audits and financial statements.
  • Familiarity with insurance or financial services reporting is highly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
